The percentage of IPO shares that an investor receives. (See: Allocation Notice). Don't get fooled by the fact that the term has the word "alot" in it. The term has nothing to do with the notion that you get alot of shares in a hot IPO. In reality, most investors who want tons of shares (thinking "free money!") only get a few. Maybe a better term would be "Alittlement."

road show lots of numbers traded among financial analysts for stock brokers and
money managers analysts to all chew on and that Roadshow continues almost like [Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump on stage]
an election with a final tally on the day the shares are placed and the cash
changes hands and a new public company is born...
