Artificial intelligence is not the message you thought you received from an alien when you consumed way too many edibles last night. It is, however, just as fascinating.

Artificial intelligence refers to a technology aimed at making computers think. For example, when an algorithm improves recognition patterns, artificial intelligence improves. This is huge for the future because it allows technology to learn (and adjust to) your needs. For example, Amazon's Alexa. Alexa uses artificial intelligence to decipher what you like...and give you more of it.

So, we'll keep tinkering with AI until machines become sentient and conquer us all...
