Business-To-Business Advertising

Business-to-Business Advertising refers to advertising done by one business to garner business from another.

This is done often through trade magazines (Carpentry Today, etc) and can be focused on a physical item, like a machine or a service.

For example, a contractor who installs windows might advertise to businesses and individuals both. She would market differently though...an individual might be more concerned about the final price of the window being installed in their house, but a business might be more concerned about whether the contractor and her team can come on off-peak hours, like weekends or evenings, clean up the mess, and in general stay out of their customers way so they can attend to business as usual.
