Did you just order pizza? If so, your current delivery time might be 30 minutes. But odds are good that they screwed up the order. Hope you like your pizza with anchovies, pineapples, and kale chips.
In the world of trading futures contracts, however, current delivery refers to the contract for a specific commodity or product that expires soonest. In the futures market, the month that the options contract can be executed is also the date of delivery of the product. If you're trading a July corn contract, and it’s July 1, we refer to the July contracts in their current delivery month.
