In the Mad Men days, or even in The Office days, most work had to take place, well, at work. You didn't have much choice but to take a shower, put on some appropriate office clothes (maybe including a puffed-out skirt or a matching tie/pocket square ensemble) and sit in an office for at least eight hours a day.
Enterprise mobility changed all that. Now, we can roll out of bed and work while sitting on our couches, wearing pajamas. Or...less.
The term "enterprise mobility" refers to a workplace structure where employees have the option to do their jobs remotely. It involves various online applications and communication procedures that keep people connected, despite not working in the same physical location.
