Where most employees get their information.
It’s not a formal channel. It’s the gossip channel of communication. It’s the whispers and side text messages and all of that juicy stuff. It’s a way to pass along information when the official channels are either not accessible or not available. It’s also the reason that secret and confidential information ends up being known to...pretty much everybody.
The grapevine can also cause unsubstantiated rumors and misinformation to spread like a virus in an incubator. Or...wherever they heard it.
