Nominal Interest Rate

Not inflation-adjusted. Just the number.
Like...if you had received 4.7% interest on bonds from whatever.com for the last dozen years before the company bought them back at 102, or 2% above the $1,000 par value, or $1,020.
They paid 4.7% for 12 years. Was that a good number? Bad? Well, inflation was 2% every single year, so their nominal interest rate was 4.7% and their real interest rate was 2.7%.
