Year-end bonuses are a lump sum of cash money given to some super-special someones at the end of the year by the business they work for. When business is good, year-end bonuses are made possible.
Sometimes, the year-end bonus is based on performance metrics. Other times it's more arbitrary and mysterious. Often you see top execs and CEOs get large bonuses at the end of the year. So cross your fingers and hope trickle-down economics is really a Thing.
