This was a #1 hit for Taylor and actually knocked another of her #1 songs, "Shake It Off," from the top spot. This was the first time in Billboard history that happened, so good job on that front.

With this track, Taylor is kind of mocking her reputation as a man-eater. She totally has fun with it in the video, in which she does all kinds of crazy stuff to an unlucky lover like cut out nipple holes in his nice shirts. Yes, Taylor, that is indeed insane.

Also, we just want to assure you that she does indeed sing "got a long list of ex-lovers" in the chorus and not "star-crossed lovers" or "lonely Starbucks lovers," as some have claimed.
