Exactly how steamy is this story?
PG
There's not a whole lot of sex-talk (or sex action—get your minds out of the gutter and into the 1870s!) for most of A Doll's House. This isn't particularly surprising, since it's set in the Victorian era. Think woolen undies rather than lingerie.
We get one pretty flirtatious scene between Dr. Rank and Nora, but most of the innuendo is buried in talk of flesh colored stockings (scandalous!). The last scene begins with Torvald being all drunk and turned-on, but Nora quickly shuts him down. For the most part, the play is appropriate for general audiences... although your great-great-great-great grandfather might have been shocked when it first came out.
