- The fire station gets an emergency call that night, and Anna rides with her dad to pick up an old woman who had a stroke.
- Anna holds the old woman's hand on the way to the hospital, then she sneaks away to Kate's room.
- Brian takes Anna back to the station, where they sit on the roof and watch a meteor shower. Anna wonders if Kate can see the meteors from her hospital window.
