Leroy Moffitt Timeline and Summary

Leroy works on crafts projects while at home recovering from a trucking accident, and he decides to build a log cabin for his wife, Norma Jean, even though she's not interested.
He buys marijuana from Stevie Hamilton, the son of Leroy's former classmate who is now a doctor.
He's afraid his wife is going to leave him and tries to confide in his mother-in-law, Mabel, who encourages him to take Norma Jean to Shiloh for a second honeymoon.
Leroy and Norma Jean go to Shiloh, where they drive around and have a picnic.
