Exactly how steamy is this story?
PG
The Ramsays are obviously having it (seriously, eight kids?), but we regret to inform you that throughout the course of the book no one has sex. They’re all too concerned with bigger things, like fruit arrangements, Shakespeare, and the meaning of life. Oh wait – there is one potentially juicy tidbit we forgot to mention. In Part Three, we discover that Paul Rayley has "taken up" with another woman, but even this seems to be more about shared opinions about "the taxation of land values and a capital levy" than any sexual attraction.
