No matter what you've heard, farming is the world's oldest profession. Sure, technology has changed farm science and a couple of decades from now we may be growing food in space for people on earth, or vice versa. One thing is certain: the field of farm science is growing, and won't become obsolete for a long time. Even by the time we all have robots to cook for us, we'll still need real intelligence to keep the food supply plentiful and useful.
