This job will still be here in twenty years, but we're not sure you're still going to want it. If you're still lifting bags and delivering them to people's rooms or bringing them down to the lobby day after day after day, you're going to be very bored and rather broke.

In a little longer than twenty years, the job may be taken by robots...but you're probably safe from that for at least a little while longer.

Your prospects are much better if you learn the ropes and make yourself invaluable to the hotel. That way, you can work your way into hotel management.
