Physical Danger
One good thing about being a fashion photographer is that the amount of physical danger you're in is up to you. If you shoot most things in your cozy studio or on white sand beaches with gentle waves, you'll probably be all right. Well, you know...as long as you aren't crushed by lighting equipment or mauled by an angry seal.
The danger level may rise if you insist on shooting while hanging upside down from cliffs, or if you think it's artsy for every shoot to include wild, ravenous beasts—but again, that's up you.
The point is that your chances of getting physically hurt while on the job really are pretty slim unless you do something ridiculous. The high blood pressure that comes with the stress of staying afloat in the business will probably be more likely to take you down.
