Your work may become recognized, but your face won't be. Do you know who designed the iconic "I Heart New York" logo? Milton Glaser created this iconic image in 1977 while working for the Wells Rich Greene advertising agency. The client was the New York State Department of Commerce. ("Yeah, I didn't really want to know all that—I just wanted the T-shirt.") To get the fame, graphic designers must "heart" their careers and hope for some luck landing a big client.
