The odds of hanging on even after you've gotten in aren't that peachy keen either. There's always going to be some up-and-comer who's more up-and-coming than you. There are some high demands on performance…you can't be awesome one year and then suck for the next three. The tennis world will have forgotten you, you'll probably be too rusty to compete with the big boys, and your sense of confidence will be utterly drained.

So take our advice—once you're on the Tour, don't lose. It's the only surefire way to stick around.
