Include multimedia components (e.g., graphics, images, music, sound) and visual displays in presentations to clarify information.
Ooh, pretty pictures. Unfortunately, if that's the only thing that goes through the audience's mind when they see multimedia stuff during a speech, then the speech-giver's doing it wrong. If multimedia stuff is in a presentation, then it should have a reason to be there. Also, do make sure that students are actually referring to that multimedia stuff in their speeches instead of just slapping them onto the projector and not saying anything about them.
