Meg Murry

We get most of these strange adventures through Meg's eyes (see "Narrator Point of View" for more on this). Not only that, but her character gets the most dramatic arc: while Charles Wallace maybe kinda sorta learns to not be overconfident in his own mental powers, and Calvin learns that in fact there is a world beyond the one he felt so stifled in, Meg is the character who undergoes a sea change over the course of the novel, from a self-hating weenie who can barely move without a hand to hold to someone more confident in her own abilities and aware of her inner strength. And after all, it's Meg – not Charles or Calvin or Mr. Murry or even Mrs. Whatsit – who saves the day in the end.
