Exactly how steamy is this story?

Dead Man Walking was written by a nun, and it does not overturn any stereotypes about books written by nuns. There isn't much sex in the book, and even less romance. Since the book focuses on heinous crimes, there is some mention of rape, but there's certainly nothing explicit. The PG-13 rating is for some of Robert Lee Willie's discussions with Prejean; he talks in a bit of detail about some of his sexual relationships. (Note that the movie includes a more explicit depiction of rape and murder, and is rated R.)
