Tyler Durden's antagonists aren't the guys he faces in fight club, or the police, or the makers of Lever 2000. No, he's fighting society as a whole. He hates capitalism, summing it up thusly:

TYLER: Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy s*** we don't need.

Project Mayhem is built to destroy the foundations of capitalism. They make fake billboards. They destroy corporate "art." They demolish chain coffee restaurants. And they blow up banks and financial centers. You can't get much more anti-capitalist than that.
