Bring on the tough stuff - there’s not just one right answer.
- Why is the play named after Barbara when Andrew is actually the protagonist/hero?
- While we are on the subject: What kind of protagonist is Andrew Undershaft? In what ways is he typical? Atypical?
- Why are Sarah and Cholly in the play? They don't get a heck of a lot to do, so what is their role in everything that happens? Are they just there for comic relief? Or something else?
- How does Lady Brit's character change by the end? Is she still as scary even after her husband and his business undercut her cred/power with the kids? How does her transition compare to Barbara's?
- Is the ending actually a happy one? Why or why not?
