From the moment we meet him, it's pretty clear that Rogozhin is going to be the number one bad guy. He is dark, he is brooding, he is angry and overly passionate, and he immediately takes a pretty unhealthy interest in our protagonist, which is always a sure-fire way to tell that they are going to have a nemesis-style relationship.
