Jaapie "The Judge" Botha

The first evildoer of many in the novel, The Judge is the representative of all the times of oppression that Peekay encounters in the novel. Not only does he hate Peekay for being English, he's also racist against non-white people and tattoos a swastika on his arm. The torture that he puts Peekay through is just a taste of all the other suffering that Peekay will witness. And the revenge at the end of the novel has protagonist over antagonist all the way.
