have a care in the world, his daily routine consists of eating sleeping and [Happy eating Fritos]

partying the rest of the time. Okay so his definition of partying is pretty [Happy asleep with a hat on]

much just lounging around on the couch and eating Fritos but different strokes

you know. He scoffs at his older brother Jared who has to put on a suit and tie [His brother looking angry and walking away in a suit]

every day and go to one of those those job things he shakes his head and his

sister Candice who always feels the need to follow the rules checking in with [Candice talking to her parents]

mammy and Pappy Hipperson anytime she's gonna be home late. Always getting her [Cadince working on her homework]

homework done on time eating right exercising could she be any more boring [Candice doing exercises]

nope for happy this is the life. No responsibilities no bills to pay no

supervisor to report to no restrictions on his partying / lounging time... [Happy dreaming of eating Fritos and lounging around]

Uh oh, Mammy and Pappy have that look in their eyes again, oops looks like Happy's being [Happy being kicked out the house]

given the old heave-ho not to be confused with the new heave-ho which is [Scientists working on the Heave Ho 2.0]

still being beta tested.. Happy's parents have had it up to here [Fingers point to the parent's shoulders]

higher, yeah right about there, with their freeloading irresponsible offspring his [The fingers move up to their heads]

aunt Maude refuses to take him in and after about three days on the streets [Happy looking for a place to stay]

with nothing to eat and nowhere to go happy finally find sufficient motivation

to get his butt in gear. Suddenly happy has to actually find a way to survive in [Happy finds an angel]

the real world but he finds out real fast that in the real world the [Sign for Abe's Demolition looking for workers]

responsibility is kind of a big deal and not having any schooling or training to

point to and it's gonna hurt because he was never responsible about his school [Happy's bad report card]

work happy didn't exactly get the best grades so going to a top-notch college

or getting a high paying job are pretty much out of the question instead he has [Office with lots of money on the floor]

to apply for a minimum wage gig which he gets because well why not give the young [Happy in a fast food restaurant]

kid a shot but which he then loses because he shows up late his first day

on the job he learns his lesson the second time around and shows up every [Happy holding a bucket and brush]

day at 8 a.m. on the dot for his new job as a car wash squeegee guy but he has

dreams of moving up to assistant squeegee guy one day [Happy dreaming of becoming an assistant]

and someday maybe for the TSA he could well nevermind. He starts renting a small

studio apartment that he shares with a handful of cockroaches none of whom [Happy in bed with cockroaches crawling all over]

unfortunately chip in on the rent. Of course the apartment doesn't last

long either because after missing his first two rent payments happy is back on [Happy looks shocked the roaches didn't pay their rent and is kicked out by the landlord]

the streets he tries and fails to get a car

he has no co-signers and no one will give him a loan so he has to walk in his

worn down sneakers every day between his job and his cardboard box du jour, oh [Happy walking in ruined shoes]

people don't let this happen to you... Eventually his boss tires of his

appearance and his smell in cuts happy loose, wow too unkempt to work as a

squeegee guy ouch that hurts so happy does the only thing he can do he goes
- 02:45
crawling begging and pleading back to mammy and Pappy. Well the parents they [Happy crawling into his parents house covered in dirt]

take him back in as they can see he's learned his lesson and they sort of love [Happy's mom looks grossed out by the smell]

him anyway but it's with the understanding that his unresponsibility

is ancient history which it is happy cleans himself up it's [Happy working in a library]

a halfway decent job and starts taking night school classes. He moves out and [Happy gets an A on his essay]

into an apartment sans the cockroaches there. As soon as he's able and pays all [The cockroaches saying they miss Happy]

his rent and bills on time from that day forward he takes responsibility for his [Landlord looking happy as his money is handed to him]

health too, starts eating better ie not a hundred percent pop-tarts and ramen [Corn and pomegranates fall down]

noodles and gets up off the couch on a regular basis when all said and done [Happy exercising]

taking responsibility didn't just lift happy up in the eyes of his parents it [Happy with his arm in the air rising]

vastly improved the quality of his life which made happy, happy too heck he even
- 03:32
gets along with Jarrod and Candice nowadays maybe one day he'll even pick [Happy out to lunch with his brother and sister]

up the check. Uh, maybe not...
