Language L.4.5.C
Demonstrate understanding of words by relating them to their opposites (antonyms) and to words with similar but not identical meanings (synonyms).
Well, folks. We've come to a Shmoop favorite: antonyms and synonyms. If students are working on related words, it can sometimes bring on the sillies, and we want to assure you that that's okay. These two word groups offer plenty of activity opportunities and word puzzles, so take full advantage. A homework sheet styled after a Mad Libs activity sounds like a great idea to us.
