what is the probability that the sum of the dice will be greater than 10?

So an easy way to answer this question is to draw a table.
- 00:29
On each side, we’ll represent the result of rolling one of the dice.
- 00:34
Then, we’ll find the sum of each combination.
- 00:36
Now, all we have to do is count the spaces
- 00:39
where the sum is greater than 10. You may have to use your toes. Get your socks off.
- 00:45
There are two spaces with 11, and one with 12.
- 00:48
That’s 3 spaces out of 36 possible combinations.
- 00:52
So the answer is 3/36 or 1/12, and our answer is (C).
- 01:05
Thank goodness we arrived at an answer before we had to start counting other body parts…
